“Article 267 TFEU and the relationship between national courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union”

Please answer the question and demonstrate with several case studies. If possible at least one case study / example to Irish cases. A particular emphasis on the relationship between Irish national courts and the court of justice would be required (as I am in Ireland and the assignment was set in Ireland), however, there would also be a need to refer to other EU countries of course.
There would need to be quite a lot of references.
Academic books will be required as well as journal sources.
