• The contemporary story for the presentation is in the form of a novel, movie, or video game inspired by a mythological epic or journey of a hero’s quest.
• The plight of the protagonist and the feat(s) he or she must overcome for the benefit of society is articulated effectively
• The antagonist is identified along with their respective characteristics and the role they play in the hero’s quest
• Each of the steps the hero takes in their quest is detailed to include: (1 point each)

• Parallels between the myth(s) and the contemporary counterpart it has inspired is explained
