Different types of criminal justice reports

In criminal justice, there are many fields, as both, probation and ‘parole officers write various reports which are written for purposes of administrative, and to inform other authoritarian figures, such as corrections department supervisor, along with other officers who are involved in the case. Violation and presentence reports are written by both, probation and parole officers also. Johnson, Rettig, Scott, and Garrison (2015) speaks of these two reports, “Victim reports explain to corrections department supervisors, judges, and other officials that someone has violated the terms and conditions of his or her probation or parole, evaluate the mature and severity of the violation, and suggest appropriate responses to the violation on part of the correction system” Also mentioned is presentence reports, which are used to hand down a sentience by a judge of those who have been convicted of a crime”.

How these reports can be helpful in my line of work

Violation reports are like police reports, they both collect information on who committed the crime, what prompted the crime, where the violation occurred, when the specific crime was committed, how, and why (Johnson et., al, 2015). A Linseed behavior specialist Consultant (LBSC) mission comes close to the same objections, with the difference being that the disability, or disorder is diagnosed, then a plan is put in place to help those who are dealing with a specific mentioned mental problem. This process will take finding out who has the issue, when it was discovered, how will it be treated, when exactly to use certain preventative measures, how they are used, and why. For an example, if a person is diagnosed with schizophrenia, in most cases it is difficult to handle, if not properly trained. There are multiple thoughts that cross the mind of someone that suffers for this disorder which enters their mind at the same time, making it difficult for the receiving party to understand what the person is trying to express. This is when the (LBSC) plan acts as a victim reports, aiding with a full description of the problem, then handed down to others involved in helping the situation, which are Mobile Therapist, and Therapeutic Support Staff members with the intentions to help the person with the disability, along with helping others, such as family members, and nurse aids with the overall treatment goal.
