To maximize the success of your digital portfolio, all sections should be carefully designed, written, edited, and proofread. Consider an audience beyond just your instructor and your classmates: showcase your writing development to prospective employers as well. Demonstrate rhetorically effective choices throughout your digital portfolio. Make sure each content area landing page contains sufficient contextual information to guide readers.

Always make sure you have “published” the content of your Portfolio so other readers can see it; you can distinguish between “Edit” and “Publish” views within your Portfolio via the tabs on the upper left corner.

While all the Habits of Mind are involved in all work for this course, working steadily on your digital portfolio throughout the semester demonstrates Responsibility, Persistence, and Engagement. The strongest portfolios will show clear evidence of such consistent and regular development throughout the semester.
