The structure of this paper has three main parts:
1. The Introduction (about 10% of total word count)
You need to introduce the subject that is going to be discussed within the body of the paper. This is sometimes referred to as setting the scene. Provide a brief outline of the structure of what is to be discussed within the body of the paper, introducing the ideas or concepts you intend to focus on in your argument. In the intro, include the aim of the paper….
2. The Body
You provide the summary of the subject utilizing a broad scholarly approach, to help provide evidence of learning for your chosen topic, beyond what has been presented in this course.
The information in this section needs to relate to how this will help broaden your scope of practice, whilst transitioning to professional practice.
3. The Conclusion (about 10% of total word count)
You provide a summary of the arguments and restate the overall point of view that has been developed.
You do not introduce new material in the conclusion.
This assignment requires you to choose and critically analyse an issue that you have identified as being important to you as a beginning registered nurse. Building upon your readings, this assignment requires that you read further around your issue of interest and critically analyse the literature to consider the implications for your practice.
