In my opinion, both having an understanding of how the world works and having a clear vision for how it should be are important qualities that a political leader should have. Both qualities aid the political leader in getting proper legislation passed that supports the populous they represent. My opinion is that it is more important for political leaders to have an understanding of how the world works. Understanding how the world works should be one of the major factors that the political leader use to create and/or execute a clear vision of how it should be. Using the understanding of how the world works they could provide the reason of why a problem exists, create a plan that corrects the solution, and successfully represent their populous because they have understanding of their issues. Political leaders that have a clear vision for how it should be are able to create and/or execute a solution to an issue. Their idea and/or theory of their solution could be based on results from the understanding of how the world works, the political philosophy and/or ideology of the populous they represent, historically based, or their own deductions from the data that the problem represents.
