Suppose Ralph Linton were to rewrite his essay “One Hundred Per Cent American.” Suppose he were to focus on those “100% American” items used by his fictional middle-class person that originated with or were heavily influenced by American Indians.

Write his new essay.

Use the materials from Weatherford’s chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11. You may use materials from additional chapters if you wish. Also use any relevant materials from the class discussions. Your essay should be at least 500-700 words = about 2 pages typed double spaced.
