You will identify a counseling theory, technique, or intervention related to dialectical behavior therapy applied to working with young adult females between the ages of 17 to late 20s . In this project, you will explore quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, case design and program evaluation research articles published within the last 10 years related to your selected topic in counseling. In addition to examining specific research methodology, you will also gain an understanding of the importance of how research informs counseling practice related to your topic of interest.

Annotated Bibliography

The Final Project for this course will involve the construction of an annotated bibliography that can be used to inform counseling practice. For this Assignment,

1. Select a theory, treatment , or intervention that can be applied to a specific population you are interested in working with.
2. Visit the Walden Library and search for literature related to your topic of interest.
   Note: Use the resources provided to you, and reach out to the librarians for assistance.
3. Select:
   1. At least one quantitative research articles
   2. At least one qualitative research articles
   3. At least one single case design research article OR one program evaluation research article
   4. At least one mixed methods design research article.

Your bibliography should include between 4 peer-reviewed articles published within the last 10 years.

Constructing an Annotated Bibliography

Writing a thorough annotated bibliography involves the ability to distinguish between research methods.
