- Rate of economic growth

- Index of Openness

- Currency

- Current exchange rate with the U.S. dollar

- Primary exports, and volume of exports in US$

- Primary imports, and volume of imports in US$

- Major trading partners

- Trade agreements in which it participates

I suggest the CIA World Factbook as a helpful resource. You can also look at the country pages of the

US Trade Representative (http://www.ustr.gov/countries-regions). You can look at XE (www.xe.com)

for exchange rate information.

I. Prepare a six-slide Power Point presentation as follows:

1. Country name and location (including a map). Please do not automatically choose the first map

that comes up on Google images. Choose a nice map that helps the class locate your country

geographically.

2. Basic facts (population, GDP, per capita income, rate of economic growth). You may include

some historical information if you want to.
