Future of leadership is very important and can be very detrimental. As the current President of the United States slogan is to “make America great again”. This slogan and vision allowed him to influence and motivate people to vote him into office. With this slogan and attitude gave some American people hope. Some American people believed in hope for the future and believed in the current president that he would indeed make America great again. My view and examining the leadership style of the current president is extremely confusion. Action speaks louder than world. The slogan “make America great again” brings up a question of when was America great and to what group of people America was great to. Making America great again is a good slogan that allowed the current president to take office. The greatness of society comes from the people that lives in society. Actions of sexual harassment and the treatment of women by leaders is not how one lead America to greatness. With necessary efforts, transactional leaders can recognize subordinates needs and wants (Bass, B.M., 1985). The current president has characteristics of a transactional leader that identify the needs and wants of some Americans which allowed him to win office. The president’s slogan gave some American people hope while crushing others and divided the nation.
