In our viewing of Eyes on the Prize thus far, its been clear that widespread organization of civil rights movements in this country has often followed particularly brutal injustices against African Americans and other minority groups (i.e. Emmett Till).

Is this a trend you see continuing presently–that is, are current pursuits of justice often galvanized by cases of brutality against black and brown bodies?
