Research Project

. Applied regression is best learned by conducting and

interpreting analyses. Accordingly, you are required to identify a marketing or

economics question that you wish to answer. You

WILL

need to obtain your

own publicly available data source for this project. This project will consist of six

components:

a. Obtaining data and specifying model/hypotheses

b. Conducting simple regression analyses on the data

c. Conducting multiple regression analyses on the data with all continuous

independent variables.

d. Conducting multiple regression analyses on the data with one or more

categorical independent variables

e. Conducting logit or probit analyses on the data with categorical dependent

variable(s).

f. Writing a final empirical research report.
