MG 114 RESEARCH PROJECT #2 CRITERIA ~ DUE WEEK 10:

Select a pathology of the thyroid or abdominal vessels to research. Request and receive

approval for your selection from your instructor as there can be no duplicated

pathologies. Use a combination of your books, the Internet and the AI Virtual Library when

doing your research. Please note that at least two references MUST be from the AI Virtual

Library. Write your report explaining the pathology, signs and symptoms, lab values, clinical

findings, treatment, prognosis, and ultrasound findings using MS Word. The report must be a

minimum of 3 pages. Using the research paper, create a presentation and present your

research to the class. Get creative! Presentation suggestions: Power Point, skit, poster, bring

in a guest speaker, Q&A, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS: Visit the AI Virtual Library and complete the tutorial and associated unit

quizzes prior to beginning your research on your organ pathology and sterile procedure.
