The PMHNP should have an understanding of the different etiologies underlying suicidal behavior in order to assess and intervene effectively.

1. Research theories of suicide. 
2. Write a 3 page paper comparing and contrasting at least 2 theories of suicide. 
   1. Is there one theory that resonates most with you?  Explain why. 
   2. How can you use these theories in practice? 
3. Use APA formatting throughout the paper, citations/references should be included
