aggregate, students will explore Healthy People 2020 Topics and Objectives and identify an
actual or potential health problem that has nursing implications. This will be the focus of the
final paper. The paper should include demographics, scope of the problem, current political,
legal, and ethical issues regarding the issue, the resources of the health care system currently
devoted to this problem, and a discussion of professional nursing roles and interventions relevant
to the community health nurse.
The paper must be at least eight to 10 typed pages (excluding the title and reference page) with
12 point Times New Roman font double spaced. The paper must use APA formatting without an
abstract and include a minimum of seven references
