Getting ready for committee and QRM submit for this dissertation. My degree is Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). My chair is a stickler for emulating tier 1 research schools although my school is not a tier 1 school. I will attach all chair feedback on my existing proposal. In summary, I wrote the current draft 2 years ago, so my sources are out of date. I also need to align my dissertation with my degree (business), so looking for sources from “business source complete” is a must. A lot of my sources are not business, so my chair says my paper is not aligned with my degree because of that. I need you to fix that please. I have been working on an annotated bibliography to replace these sources which I will also attach. A big issue in my paper is that the literature mostly uses the Big 5 personality assessment and I wrote my current draft with a plan to use the DiSC. I wouldn’t mind staying with the DiSC if I can justify its use (see chair feedback on that), however, if I need to use the Big 5, I am just fine with that. If I stay with the DiSC, it is imperative to keep the required sample as low as possible because it is VERY expensive to administer each test. I can’t stress that enough. I also used text books to source my chapter 3 methods. I need to replace those with thought-leader sources (green books, etc). My chair said the layout I want to use is fine (headings etc, but I’m flexible). I really need to beef up chapter 2 and revise chapter 1 accordingly. Internet sources are OK if it is a government site or a very reputable organization like argentum.com. I would keep these to a minimum though. I have 112 sources now. As I said, I need to replace some of those with current ones. Given the current ratio of pages to sources that I have, 75 pages would result in about 160 sources. Finally, my chair had me pick out 6 dissertation examples to reference as I write, which she approved. I will send those as well although I am still good with my layout that I already have.
Only do Chapter 1-3. add and replace some sources to total 110 more sources to be added.
