Unit 4 abolitionist theory

You have read the words of and studied about several abolitionists in Unit 4 (especially in Topic 13). Whose arguments do you feel would be more receptive by northerners? southerners? Why? Conversely, whose arguments do you feel would be least receptive by northerners? Why?

Remember that you should provide a clear thesis to your answer and include specific historical details in support of your argument. Don’t forget about documentary evidence!
